Volume 1, No. 2 in the World War I Aero Publishers aviation series. "A concise and well-written history of the unit which was comprised of the 11th; 20th; 96th; and 166th US Aero Squadrons. It was formed on 10 September 1918 and was in almost constant action until the Armistice. This Group was equipped with Breguet 14 B2's and D.H.4's. For the short period of its existence, this Group lost 27 aircraft and 62 pilots and observers and had 48 confirmed victories." Noffsinger 1936.
