The biography of Kindley, one of the lesser known American pilots of WWI, with the history of the early years of aviation, the Great War, and the American Expeditionary Force in the war. Photographic illustrations. Kindley is cedited with 12 victories. He was awarded the US DSC with Bronze Oak Leaf and the British DFC. He died tragically in an airplane accident in 1920. As new, jacket not clipped.
