The U.S. Twentieth Aero Squadron was organized at Kelly Field, Texas on May 17, 1917. The unit was assigned to the First Day Bombardment Group on September 7, 1918, after training in England and France. The Squadron participated in the St. Mihiel and the two Argonne-Meuse offensives. With a description of the 11 combats, 11 victories, and 25 casualties in the reports of 32 trips over the line. With detailed accounts of the Squadron's movements, a roster and individual records, several poems, and a summary of operations. Three black and white illustrations. As new.
