A fine, well illustrated biography of one of the most colorful of the early aviators. Born in Russia, Sergievsky learned to fly in 1912. During World War I, he flew with Russian Air Force against the Austro-Hungarians. After the war he came to America and joined Igo Sikorsky's airplane company and became its chief text pilot. Very fine copy, jacket not clipped.
