Series No. 3 on World War I Aces. Proctor was the victor in 54 aerial combats. He was killed in a plane crash in 1921. He flew S.E.5 and S.E.5a aircraft with 84 Squadron and was one of 19 airmen to receive the Victoria Cross. Includes many photographic reproductions, lists of his decorations, air victories, aircraft Proctor flew, and a name index. A very fine copy.
