The main part of this work gives detailed descriptions and development and operational histories of all categories of aircraft in service during the war including operational aircraft and the major types of trainers. The second section presents full coverage of Germany's rotary-wing aircraft including the gyro-kites used at sea with the U-boat fleets, and a selection of aircraft projects. The third section is devoted to the wide range of German guided and unguided missiles including the V1 flying bomb and the V2 rockets which paved the way for man's exploration of space. Apendices list the type numbers allocated to German aircraft and many of the more advanced projects. Illustrations included hundreds of photographs and a large number of very detailed general-arrangement drawings. A fine, clean copy, jacket not clipped.
