An essential bibliography of incunabula. Each volume with the bookplate of Thomas Marston (1904-84) who was for many years Curator of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Yale University. He was also an ardent collector of manuscripts and gave many of them to Yale. Each volume also has the later bookplate of Dr. Eugene S. Flamm, neurosurgeon, bibliophile and former president of the Grolier Club, which was designed by Abe Lerner and printed by Jerry Kelly. Spines scuffed with spine label on Volume II heavily chipped. Some pages printed a bit off register. Contents clean and unmarked, Covers a slightly scuffed, hinges solid.
