Originally produced by the Monotype Type Foundry in the 1930s and later reissued in the 1950s folded and included within issues of the Monotype Recorder, though this example is not folded. Designed by Sarah Clutton. Printed in black and ochre. Framed. These were intended to show the range of ornamental designs available from Monotype using the various patterns round the edge and the individual blocks printed within showing their reference numbers. Very fine.
