From the library and with a dozen or so marginal pencil notations of Walter H. Briggs. Briggs was Harvard College Librarian who started his association with the Widener Library in 1896. The Association was comprised of Cambridge, Massachusetts members who would gather to perform readings of Shakespeare's plays. Mr. and Mrs. Briggs appear as members of the cast in nearly every announcment. With an 8" x 10" stiff board both printed and filled in by script, allowing William Briggs to attend two lectures without charge, dated January 11th 1892. Chipped at edges.
