Well illustrated with 120 photographs. Captain Luigi Contini's aim in writing this extensive history was to address a 'serious gap" in the literature on Italian aviation during World War One. A fine copy with some wear to wrappers at spine. Neat, clear tape reinforcement to head and foot of spine. There are small tears to a few pages at the center.
